يدين حزب العيش والحرية إقرار الكنيست الإسرائيلي قانون إعدام الأسرى الفلسطينيين، باعتباره جريمة تشريعية مكتملة الأركان وانحدارًا خطيرًا نحو تقنين القتل العمد تحت غطاء القانون.
إن هذا القرار لا يمكن فصله عن طبيعة نظام استعماري عنصري قائم على الإبادة البطيئة والتنكيل الممنهج بالشعب الفلسطيني، ويُعد إعلانًا صريحًا بإضفاء الشرعية على القتل خارج إطار العدالة، في تحدٍ سافر لكل قواعد القانون الدولي والإنساني.
إن تشريع إعدام الأسرى هو تصعيد غير مسبوق يفتح الباب أمام جرائم قتل جماعي بحق معتقلين عزّل، ويؤكد أن منظومة الاحتلال لا تعترف لا بحق الحياة ولا بأبسط معايير المحاكمة العادلة، بل تسعى لترسيخ سياسة الانتقام والإرهاب المنظم.
ويحمّل حزب العيش والحرية المجتمع الدولي، والأمم المتحدة، وكافة الهيئات الحقوقية الدولية المسؤولية الكاملة عن صمتها المتواطئ، ويعتبر أي تقاعس عن التحرك الفوري شراكة مباشرة في هذه الجريمة.
ويدعو الحزب إلى أوسع حالة من الغضب الشعبي والتحرك السياسي والحقوقي العاجل، محليًا ودوليًا، للضغط من أجل إسقاط هذا القانون الفاشي، ووقف جرائم الاحتلال المستمرة بحق الأسرى والشعب الفلسطيني.

Bread and Freedom Party condemns the Israeli Knesset’s passage of the law authorizing the execution of Palestinian prisoners, considering it a fully-fledged legislative crime and a dangerous slide towards legalizing premeditated murder under the guise of law.
This decision cannot be separated from the nature of a racist colonial regime based on slow genocide and systematic oppression of the Palestinian people. It constitutes an explicit declaration of legitimizing extrajudicial killings, in blatant defiance of all rules of international and humanitarian law.
The legalization of the execution of prisoners is an unprecedented escalation that opens the door to mass killings of defenseless detainees. It confirms that the occupation regime recognizes neither the right to life nor the most basic standards of a fair trial, but rather seeks to entrench a policy of revenge and organized terrorism.
Bread and Freedom Party holds the international community, the United Nations, and all international human rights bodies fully responsible for their complicit silence and considers any failure to take immediate action as direct complicity in this crime. The party calls for widespread public outrage and urgent political and legal action, both locally and internationally, to pressure for the repeal of this fascist law and to stop the occupation’s ongoing crimes against prisoners and the Palestinian people.
