نرحب – نحن الكيانات الموقعة أدناه – بإخلاء سبيل 3 شابات وشاب تم القبض عليهم على خلفية مشاركتهم في وقفة تضامنية مع فلسطين ولبنان. ونجدد في الوقت ذاته مطالبتنا بالإفراج الفوري عن جميع معتقلي التضامن مع فلسطين والمعتقلين بسبب ممارستهم لحقهم في حرية الرأي والتعبير، وعلى رأسهم الطلاب، فورًا ودون قيد أو شرط.
في السابع من أكتوبر 2024، ألقت الشرطة القبض على خمس شابات وشاب أثناء تنظيمهم وقفة تضامنية مع الشعبين الفلسطيني واللبناني في منطقة الزمالك بالقاهرة، بالتزامن مع الذكرى الأولى لمعركة “طوفان الأقصى” والإبادة المستمرة في غزة.
وتم ترحيل اثنتين من الشابات إلى الدنمارك، حيث تحمل إحداهما الجنسيتين السورية والأمريكية، بينما تحمل الأخرى الجنسية الدنماركية. أما الآخرون، فقد ظلوا رهن الحبس الاحتياطي حتى تم إخلاء سبيلهم عنهم بكفالة مالية.
وشملت قائمة الاتهامات الموجهة إليهم تنظيم مظاهرة دون تصريح، وتحريض العامة على مخالفة القوانين وارتكاب أعمال العنف ضد الدولة، فيما ضمت قائمة الأحراز: ميكروفون، وكوفية، وعلمي فلسطين ولبنان.
وعلى الرغم من قرار إخلاء سبيل المقبوض عليهم، إلا أن استمرار هذه الانتهاكات الممارسة بحق المتضامنين، وتصاعد القمع تجاه الأصوات الحرة، يعكسان انتهاكًا صارخًا للحق في الرأي والتعبير السلمي، حيث لم يرتكبوا أي جريمة تبرر القبض عليهم في المقام الأول.
إن ترحيل الفتاتين أيضا يعد تصرفًا غير مبرر، حيث لم ترتكبا أي مخالفة تستدعي ذلك، بل عبّرتا فقط عن تضامنهما سلميا مع الشعبين الفلسطيني واللبناني اللذين يتعرضان لعدوان إسرائيلي وحشي ومستمر.
ويأتي إخلاء سبيل الشابات الثلاث والشاب المقبوض عليهم، بينما ما يزال عدد كبير من المتضامنين في الحبس الاحتياطي يواجهون تهما ملفقة ومكررة، من بينها الانضمام لجماعة إرهابية، ونشر أخبار كاذبة، أو المشاركة في تجمعات غير مصرح بها تضر بالأمن القومي والنظام العام، سواء بسبب مشاركتهم في فاعليات سلمية، أو في دعوات لمقاطعة الكيانات والمنتجات الداعمة للاحتلال، أو كتابة منشورات تضامنية وغيرها.
ومن بين هؤلاء، مشاركون في تظاهرات أكتوبر 2023 الرافضة لجرائم الإبادة الجماعية في غزة، وآخرون بسبب تعليقهم لافتة تضامنية مع فلسطين في محافظة الإسكندرية، بالإضافة إلى عدد آخر من الداعمين للقضية.
يذكر أنه في مرات سابقة – وعلى الرغم من التزام الداعين لتنظيم وقفات وفعاليات تضامنية بالإجراءات القانونية وتقديم طلبات رسمية وفقًا للقانون – إلا أن السلطات الأمنية واجهت تلك الطلبات بالاعتراض والرفض دون تقديم أي مبررات واضحة، ما يبرز التحديات التي يواجهها المواطنون في ممارسة حقهم المشروع في التعبير السلمي.
نجدد مطالبتنا بالإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن معتقلي الرأي وعلى رأسهم الطلاب، ونطالب بإسقاط جميع التهم الموجهة إليهم، وعلى رأسهم معتقلي التضامن، مع التأكيد على ضرورة فتح المجال العام في كل المساحات ورفع القيود المفروضة على حرية التعبير والتجمع السلمي.
إن التضامن مع الشعبين الفلسطيني واللبناني، ومع قضايا الشعوب والحريات، هو واجب وطني وإنساني وأخلاقي، ويتطلب من السلطات الإفراج عن المعتقلين بدلًا من الزج بهم في الزنازين.

We renew our call for the release of all solidarity detainees and prisoners of conscience, particularly students. We also welcome the release of those arrested during the Zamalek protest (A statement for endorsement)
Solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon is a legitimate right, not a crime.
We, the signatory organizations, welcome the release of three young women and one young man who were arrested for participating in a solidarity protest for Palestine and Lebanon. At the same time, we reiterate our demand for the immediate and unconditional release of all those detained in solidarity with Palestine and those arrested for exercising their right to freedom of opinion and expression, especially students.
On October 7, 2024, the police arrested five young women and one young man while they were organizing a solidarity sit-in for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in the Zamalek area of Cairo. This occurred on the first anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation and amidst the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Two of the young women were deported to Denmark—one holding dual Syrian and American citizenship, and the other having Danish nationality—while the others remained in detention until they were released on bail.
The charges against them included organizing a protest without a permit, inciting the public to violate laws, and encouraging violence against the state. The items confiscated included a microphone, a keffiyeh, and flags of Palestine and Lebanon.
Despite the decision to release the detainees, the ongoing violations against solidarity activists and the increasing repression against free voices highlight a blatant infringement on the right to peaceful opinion and expression. The detainees committed no crimes that justified their initial arrests.
The deportation of the two young women is also unjustified, as they committed no offense; they merely expressed their solidarity peacefully with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, who are facing brutal and ongoing Israeli aggression.
The release of these three young women and one young man occurs while many solidarity activists remain in pretrial detention, facing fabricated and repetitive charges, including joining a terrorist organization, spreading false news, or participating in unauthorized gatherings that are alleged to threaten national security and public order. These charges stem from their participation in peaceful activities, calls for boycotting entities and products supporting the occupation, or posting solidarity messages.
Among those still detained are individuals who participated in the October 2023 protests against the genocide in Gaza, and others who were arrested for displaying a banner in solidarity with Palestine in Alexandria, alongside many more supporters of the Palestinian cause.
It is noteworthy that in past instances, despite organizers of solidarity protests adhering to legal procedures and submitting official requests according to the law, security authorities have consistently rejected these requests without clear justification. This highlights the challenges citizens face in exercising their legitimate right to peaceful expression.
We reiterate our demand for the immediate and unconditional release of all prisoners of conscience, especially students, and we call for the dismissal of all charges against them, particularly those related to acts of solidarity. Furthermore, we emphasize the need to open public space across all sectors and lift restrictions on freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.
Solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, as well as with the causes of oppressed peoples and freedoms worldwide, is a national, humanitarian, and moral duty. It requires the release of detainees instead of their imprisonment.
